My views are similar to the Catholic church as well as most other religions. Life begins at conception and I believe the most basic function of government is to protect life. I oppose any federal funding for abortion and support requiring parental notification prior to a minor receiving an abortion.

I am opposed to same sex marriage. Marriage is a term that should only be used to define the religious union between one man and one woman.
